What’s new in 1.7

Veeva Features

With this release, we have added support for direct user interactions within the Edetailer while engaged in a self-detailing experience. This feature is accessible when the Edetailer has been designed for Veeva Vault and utilizes the Veeva Multichannel CRM JavaScript library.

Users can now seamlessly navigate through the Edetailer by utilizing slide navigation buttons. Amplify intelligently presents users with the relevant slide and corresponding conversation when a destination is selected. Moreover, Amplify offers support for direct slide navigation commands, such as gotoSlide, nextSlide, and previousSlide.

Please take note that this feature will exclusively support self-detailers created after this release date, unless the Edetailer was exported from Activator.

Navigate directly to slides, in this example by using slide links in the menu.

Test Domain and Demo Page for Web Amps

Building upon the successful implementation for self-detail amps, we have introduced a predefined test domain feature for all new web amps. This enhancement simplifies the process of deploying and testing your amp, along with all its features, prior to integrating it into your website.

The setup is straightforward - establish a trigger, publish to the domain, and witness your amp come to life. The amp is hosted on a dedicated demo page, offering valuable insights and tips on amp features and trigger management. This ensures you are well-prepared before implementing the amp on your own domain.

Password-Protected Self-Detailer

To empower creators with the ability to restrict access to self-detailer experiences, we have introduced an optional password protection feature during domain setup. This new functionality prompts users accessing the domain to provide a password before entering the self-detail experience.

To utilize this feature, simply activate the password protection toggle during domain setup and either save the pre-generated password or input your own. Now, you can confidently share the link and password with those you wish to grant access to the self-detailer.

Other Notable Improvements

  • You can now host a specific amp on a subpath of your domain while simultaneously hosting another amp across your entire website. This means you can have an amp for guiding users through the content of your site and a different amp exclusively for your contact page.

  • We have enhanced the plans page to ensure that the currently active plan is prominently displayed on both the monthly and yearly tabs. It is now easier than ever to visualize the cost savings when selecting a yearly plan over a monthly one.

  • When you click on a node type in the left toolbar of the Amp builder, a node preview will conveniently appear next to your cursor, providing you with a preview of the selected node.
