What’s new in 1.9
Get started with Amplify
To quickly get started using Amplify and understand what it can do, we’ve introduced a new section on the Amplify dashboard called “Get started”. This section includes a couple of example amps with examples of how amps can be setup and configured. These amps are in a read-only state, and if they are found useful then they can be copied to a local and editable version.
Dashboard
Previously the dashboard was simply a list of all amps in the current organisation. With this release we have introduced a new dashboard and moved the list of amps into two: Drafts and Live.
The dashboard itself shows the previously mentioned “Get started” section, a new amp card with insights details of the latest live amp (if there are any and if the organisation has a plan with insights enabled), and the current users recently viewed amps.
Other notable improvements
Improved setup for showing accumulated insights data across all published domains and versions of an Amp.
Insights filters are now added to the URL, which makes it possible to share a link to the amp insights with the same filters applied as in your view.
The insights PDF now also shows the filters that were applied when the PDF was generated.
Better visuals on the chatbot previews in the amp styling editors, which now uses the same setup as the actual amp output and thereby show exactly how the amp will look.
The publish dialog for amps has been improved with better error handling and messaging.
Self-detailers now has the amp name as a document title on the hosted domains.
