What is a Self-Detail and how do I create one

The following article will explain how to create Self-Detailers with Amplify.

What is a Self-Detail?

A Self-Detail is a guided eDetail experience, where the eDetail is supplemented by a chatbot, which guides the user through the content based on their responses and expressed interests.

How do I create a Self-Detail?

1. From the sidebar on the Amplify dashboard, click ‘Create new’ and select ‘eDetail’.

2. Name your Amp with a relevant name. This will be used in the header when the amp is published.

3. Choose the branding you would like to apply to your new amp. You can currently change color, icon and add a custom avatar.

4. On the next screen, you will be prompted to select the zip file you want to upload.

   1. Make sure you have an eDetail at hand that’s formatted correctly according to the recognised Amplify formats - or is an exported binder from Veeva Vault.

5. It will take a few minutes for Amplify to unpack and map everything, but when it’s done, the conversation builder will reveal itself with the slides you uploaded.

Be mindful that currently, only Veeva Vault and Activator formats are working out of the box.
